Impact of Botanic Gardens of Sydney partnerships

MetLife is a Principal Partner of the Botanic Gardens of Sydney, committed to advancing rainforest seed conservation and climate change research.  Their support funds critical scientific discovery, including the recruitment of a dedicated researcher and fieldwork across NSW to collect and study vulnerable rainforest species under future climate conditions.

Together, the partnership is pioneering new approaches to seed storage and germination, including research on at least five rainforest species - two of which are critically endangered - to better understand resilience to heat, drought and disease.
