Botanic Gardens of Sydney's communications team oversees media for Royal Botanic Garden Sydney, Australian Botanic Garden Mount Annan and Blue Mountains Botanic Garden Mount Tomah.

All on-site media activity must gain prior approval from the communications team.

Media filming and photography guidelines
We can arrange interviews with our experts, supply images of our Gardens and organise site visits for journalists, photographers and camera crews.

Please note that all the Gardens are first and foremost public spaces. Consent should be sought from any members of the public who may appear in your footage.
The Gardens offer some of the most diverse, cinematic backdrops in the world for filming and photography projects. If you plan to undertake any commercial filming or photography activity featuring locations across the Botanic Gardens of Sydney, you will need to pay for venue hire and apply for a permit by filling out a Filming and Photography application.
