Your annual membership is your front-row access to the Botanic Gardens of Sydney. As an independent, not-for-profit organisation, Foundation & Friends is committed to building a thriving and connected community that supports the growth, sustainability and impact of the Gardens.

The Gardens magazine – your connection to Botanic Gardens of Sydney
As a member, you receive The Gardens, the quarterly magazine of the Botanic Gardens of Sydney, delivered to your door.
Beautifully designed and thoughtfully curated, The Gardens brings together stories of gardening, plants, science, culture and people from across the Gardens. Published four times a year and aligned with the seasons, the 36-page print magazine balances expert insight with accessible, engaging storytelling, offering members a deeper connection to one of Australia’s most loved public institutions.
Each issue shares behind-the-scenes perspectives from horticulturists, scientists, curators and educators, along with seasonal inspiration, features on conservation and research, and stories that reflect the breadth of work taking place across Royal Botanic Garden Sydney, Mount Annan, Mount Tomah and The Domain.
The Gardens plays an important role in giving voice to the work of Botanic Gardens of Sydney, celebrating innovation, sharing knowledge and inviting readers to be part of the Gardens’ ongoing story. It also keeps members informed about events, exhibitions and opportunities to engage more deeply with the Gardens.

Standard annual memberships

| Concession | $70 | Concession membership rate is available for recipients of an Australian Government pension. Senior’s cards are not accepted. |
| Student | $70 | Concession rate is available for students who are studying in Australia. |
| Household | $110 | Two adult individuals plus their children (0-15 years) residing at the same address. Two cards issued under adult names. If you are 16 years and over, you need to purchase an individual membership. Household memberships can include children aged 0-15 years. |
| Household Concession | $90 | To receive a Household Concession Membership rate both adults must be in receipt of an Australian Government pension within Australia. |
| Registered Clubs and Associations | $165 | Three cards issued in the name of the registered club or association. One member of the club or association at any one time can use each card. |

If you’re renewing, you’ll need your membership number which is located on your renewal reminder or membership card. When entering your membership number online, please include the letters and numbers without spaces.

Terms and conditions
Your Foundation & Friends membership is only valid during the period up to and including the date of expiry on your membership card.
