Timeless romance

Fashioned on a romantic 17th century-styled European garden, this wedding location features a manicured lawn enclosed by hedges, trellises and arbours – ideal for ceremonies, receptions and photographs. 

Set at the top of the Garden, near the Visitor Centre, the Formal Garden has access to electricity as well as being wheelchair accessible.

To make the most of the Formal Garden on your wedding day, our Venue Coordinator suggests:

  • Why not combine your wedding ceremony and reception by booking a marquee? Extra fees will apply, but it is a great way to have your entire wedding at one location. 
  • The Formal Garden is beautiful all year, but spring and summer is when it really comes alive with all the colour of the flowering plants.
