How do I qualify for Member tickets?

The Foundation and Friends of the Botanic Gardens is a registered charity whose mission is to grow a strong, supportive community to advocate and raise funds to support the vital work and programs across the Botanic Gardens of Sydney.

Discounted tickets are available to Members of the Foundation and Friends of the Botanic Gardens. Become a Member today at https://www.botanicgardens.org.au/get-involved/foundation-and-friends.

Members will receive a unique password to use when purchasing tickets online to Lightscape 2024. Only Foundation & Friends Members will be admitted with a Member ticket. Please ensure you bring proof of membership per person when attending Lightscape.

***Family ticket conditions: A family ticket admits 4 people. The family must be comprised of 2 adults and 2 children. Children must be aged 12 years and under to be eligible for the family ticket. Children aged 3 years and under are free of charge.

****Anytime Pass ticket conditions: An Anytime Pass permits access to the trail on a chosen date, any time between the first advertised time-slot and last entry (10 minutes after the last advertised time-slot). Tickets are only valid on the date for which they are purchased. There are no member, child, or family discounts on Anytime Pass tickets. Customers with an Anytime Pass may still be required to queue when they choose to enter.

What is the difference between an Anytime Pass and standard tickets?

A standard ticket will only grant you access to the event at the timeslot that you have booked. This time is not flexible so please do not book a time that you are unable to attend. Timeslots will be maintained to control trail numbers and ensure that all attendees are able to enjoy the full experience. 

Groups of 21+ are eligible for a discount of 10% on Lightscape tickets. If you wish to buy more than 21 tickets for a group, please contact Ticketek here.

Purchase early – Event Day tickets purchased after midnight for the same day (online and at the box office) are $4 more per person (incl. GST).
