Opening hours

The Blue Mountains Botanic Garden is open daily, from 9am to 5pm.

The Garden is open every day of the year, except Christmas Day. Please visit the dine and shop page for Tomah Cafe and the Garden Shop opening hours.

Conditions of entry and safety

Entry into the Garden is free except for special ticketed events.

Making sure all guests are safe and have an enjoyable experience is our priority.

  • Avoid sheltering under trees: trees can attract possible lightning

In cases of extreme weather the Garden may close early for the safety of visitors. 

Please note, to help protect the local fauna no animals are allowed entry into the Garden (except for harnessed assistance dogs).
