

The new, outstanding Garden Amphitheatre is one of a kind, situated right in the heart of Sydney city, as a versatile venue space to hire for events.
This carving, completed in 2011, has been made on the trunk of an old Forest Red Gum which had grown in the Garden for over 200 years. YuraBirong was carved by Aboriginal artists Glen Timbery and Vic Simms. YuraBirong, which means 'People of this Place', acknowledges the Aboriginal ancestors of Australia.
This ancient tree is one of the world's rarest plants with only three stands of adult trees growing in New South Wales' Blue Mountains.
