The Calyx (pronounced kal-iks) is defined as 'the sepals of a flower, typically forming a whorl that encloses the petals and forms a protective layer around a flower bud'.

Closures

The Calyx will be closed for private events on the below dates. It may also be closed in cases of extreme heat. We apologise for any inconvenience.

April
  • Tuesday 23 April: exhibition and cafe closed
  • Wednesday 24 April: exhibition and cafe closed
May
  • Thursday 9 May: exhibition closed, cafe open
  • Friday 17 May: exhibition closed from 3pm, cafe open
  • Saturday 18 May: exhibition closed, cafe open until 11am for takeaway only
  • Sunday 19 May: exhibition and cafe closed
  • Wednesday 29 May: exhibition and cafe closed from 1pm
