Historic cottage

Built in 1865, Victoria Lodge is a beautiful sandstone cottage boasting incredible views of Sydney Harbour.

Victoria Lodge has exceptional cultural significance. It is the only surviving lodge constructed to define the extremities and boundaries on each side of Farm Cove.  

This space is popular for art exhibitions, activations, team building or corporate launches. Victoria Lodge hire includes use of the deck overlooking Farm Cove.

A piece of history

The Italianate-style design of Victoria Lodge is attributed to colonial architect James Barnet. Its tower was constructed in 1865 with pale-coloured sandstone, and the walls are sparrow-pick finished with a rock-faced finish at the base. A new wing made of Sydney yellow block sandstone was added in 1897.

Victoria Lodge is hired as an empty venue with no furniture. This means that you will need to hire all event services and infrastructure required to run your event such as catering, furniture and décor.

  • Maximum of three supplier escorts per booking.
