Artisans in the Gardens

For 25 years, Artisans in the Gardens has brought together exceptional Australian artists and makers in one of Sydney’s most beautiful settings, while raising vital funds to support Botanic Gardens of Sydney.

From 24 October to 1 November, more than 50 established and emerging artists will transform Lion Gate Lodge and Victoria Lodge with a vibrant collection of contemporary Australian art and craft.

Explore indoor and outdoor sculpture, ceramics, textiles, jewellery, glass, woodwork, metalwork and mixed media, with original works available to purchase throughout the exhibition.

This anniversary year brings together returning Artisans favourites alongside exciting new exhibitors, combining traditional craftsmanship, innovative practices and fresh perspectives inspired by nature, landscape and renewal.

Artisans in the Gardens is more than an exhibition. Since 2017, it has raised more than $1 million to support the Gardens and their important work.

Over the past two years alone, Artisans has generated $56,495 for the Education Access Program, helping thousands of students from disadvantaged communities experience the Gardens’ education programs free of charge.

Every purchase helps Artisans continue its long tradition of supporting Botanic Gardens of Sydney.
