Greg Lamont
Horticultural Adviser, Growing Friends
Greg has had a long career in horticulture including teaching, research and development and large-scale floriculture production. Greg has been a volunteer with GF for 11 years where he shares his passion and commercial experience of plant propagation and growing. Greg has hands-on experience with a wide range of native and exotic plants.
Liz Jeavons-Fellows
Team Leader, Growing Friends
Liz worked for 15 years as an Architect in the UK before moving to Australia in 2005, and has since completed a course in horticulture and started volunteering at Growing Friends. Liz values the sharing of knowledge and gardening experiences, and her love of gardening and working with people combined with an outlet for creativity has made the last 5 years of volunteering a thoroughly rewarding time.
The morning will include a delicious morning tea, with the opportunity to purchase plants from the Growing Friends Plant Sales. All event guests will receive 20% off plant sales.
