Get ready for a 7-hour day-into–night outdoor festival set to deliver big sound, bold energy, and pure celebration. Curated by international DJ and producer Dan Slater (he/him), RAYDIA brings together world–class DJs and surprise guests for an all-out celebration of music and community.

RAYDIA is proudly Australian, as well as 100% LGBTQIA+ owned and operated. Set in The Domain on Gadigal land – one of Sydney’s most loved open-air venues – RAYDIA is ready to raise the temperature and usher in a bold new era of LGBTQIA+ Festivals.

What is the event?

Raydia is an over–18’s music event, with food and beverages available onsite. Raydia’s DJ line–up is being curated by renowned international DJ Dan Slater – who also curated the Domain Dance Party during Sydney WorldPride in February 2023.

Which areas of The Domain / Garden are impacted by this event and when?

This event takes place in the Phillip Precinct of the Domain, on Saturday 15 November 2025 from 3.00 pm to 10.00 pm with up to 7,000 patrons expected to attend.

I am not attending the event, will I still be able to access the Domain / Garden on the event day/s?

The event site will be fenced from 11 November – 19 November 2025. For the purposes of safety and staging of the event, it is necessary to close:

  • Phillip Path from Tuesday 11 November until Wednesday 19 November 2025
  • Arbor Day Walk on Saturday 15 November & Sunday 16 November 2025

All other areas of the Domain and the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney will remain open as usual.

What will the traffic and access impacts be?

We encourage patrons to use public transport to and from the event:

Train: exit at Town Hall, St James, Martin Place or Circular Quay to get within walking distance of The Domain Sydney.

Metro: alight at Gadigal or Martin Place to get within close walking distance of The Domain.

Ferry: walk to The Domain from Circular Quay.

Bus: plenty of route services make stops near The Domain. For timetables, maps and trip planning visit www.transportnsw.info.

Light Rail: the closest stops within walking distance of The Domain are QVB and Town Hall on the L2 and L3 lines.

To facilitate easier patron access and parking in the vicinity please note the following traffic changes will occur:

Road Closures

  • From 7.00 pm until approx. 11.00 pm Art Gallery Road will be closed to incoming traffic.
  • From 9.00 pm until approx. 11.00 pm Police Managed Road Closures to safely manage the events egress include:
  • St Marys Rd from Prince Albert Road to Sir John Young Crescent
  • Prince Albert Road from College Street to St Marys Road
  • Hospital Road from Art Gallery Road to Shakespeare Place
  • Art Gallery Road from Hospital Road to Mrs Macquarie Road

For the purposes of safety and staging of the event, it is necessary to close:

  • Phillip Path from Tuesday 11 November until Wednesday 19 November 2025

Parking Restrictions

Limited meter parking is available on Mrs Macquaries Road and the Domain Carpark. For prices visit: www.domaincarpark.com.au.

Mobility Pass Holder access

Accessible parking available on Access Road just after the land bridge. A drop off zone will be operational on event day on Hospital Road near the corner of Art Gallery Road. On event egress, mobility pick up available on St Marys Road, access via the Yurong Parkway intersection.

Will the Terrace on the Domain / Botanic House be open as usual?

Yes. 

Will the Garden Shop still be operating?

Yes. 

Will there be any sound impacts related to this event?

Sound checks and rehearsals will be carried out intermittently between 4.30 pm - 8.30 pm on Friday 14 November, 10.00 am – 3.00 pm on Saturday 15 November.

Event sound will be carried out from 3.00 pm to 10.00 pm on Saturday 15 November.
