The event takes place from 1pm to 9pm on Saturday 31 October. It is an 18+ event and up to 16,000 patrons are expected to attend.

The event will occupy the Phillip Precinct of The Domain Sydney from 26 October to 4 November 2026.
Yes, the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney will be open as normal.
Oktoberfest takes place in the Phillip Precinct of The Domain Sydney and this area will be fenced from 26 October to 4 November 2026, other parts of the Domain: The Crescent Precinct, Tarpeian Precinct and Yurong Precinct will remain open as normal.
We encourage patrons to use public transport to and from the event:
- Train: exit via St James, Martin Place or Circular Quay
- Ferry: walk to The Domain from Circular Quay
- Bus: for timetables, maps and trip planning visit www.transportnsw.info
Road Closures
Art Gallery Road will be closed to inbound traffic from 7.00 pm to 10.00 pm on Saturday 31 October (vehicles are able to exit, except during main pedestrian egress periods).
Wider Sydney CBD closures are anticipated from 8.00 pm to facilitate egress as per Police operations, please visit https://www.livetraffic.com/incident-details/251911.
Footpath Closures
Phillip Path and Central Ave will be closed from 7am on 26 October until 6pm on 4 November 2026.
Arbor Day Walk will be closed on event day only from midday on Saturday 31 October until midnight on Sunday 1 November 2026.
Parking restrictions / parking availability
Limited metered parking is available on site and at the Domain Car Park (operated by Wilson Parking). For prices visit: Domain Car Park
Mobility Pass Holder access
A dedicated event drop off zone will be operational on Saturday 31 October located on Hospital Road near the corner of Art Gallery Road. Parking is available at Domain car park with lift access to the Crescent precinct which is adjacent to the event site.
A dedicated mobility pick up zone will be operational on Saturday 31 October located on St Mary’s Rd and access is via the east.

Sound checks will be carried out on Saturday 31 October between 11am and 1pm followed by event sound from 1pm to 9pm.
