We honour and respect all Elders and Traditional Custodians of the lands the Botanic Gardens of Sydney stand on. We acknowledge the lands as significant historical, ceremonial and traditional trade grounds.
An EOI for our inaugural Writers in Residence program went out in late 2025 and attracted a highly competitive field of applicants from across Australia. Cheryl Leavy and Jess Harwood have been selected for the pilot program and will undertake their residencies between May and July, 2026.
